Kay Taylor - Kay has been taking trips to Cairo for many years and everyone who goes on a Cairo Adventure raves about it - many folks have been time and time again.

A fabulous experience, with dance shows, visits to costumiers and markets and in the capable hands of Kay Taylor.  Kay knows many of the dancers, musicians and costumiers who live and work in Cairo, guaranteeing you the holiday of a lifetime.

Itinerary usually includes most of the below

6 nights B & B in twin room at the Grand Hotel in Downtown Cairo - a hotel packed with local character

Transfer to/from airport if arriving with main group - separate transfer fees if not with main group

Orientation and lunch - kosherie - at local Egyptian cafe

Arabic class learn some basic phrases to use through the week

Visit to costumiers

Khan el Khalili - Cairo's biggest market - orientation, coffee/tea a Fishawes cafe and visit to Mahmouds - 3 stories of belly dance goodies

Tannoura whirling dervish show put on by the ministry of culture - amazing musicians and dervishes

Felucca trip on the Nile an hour chilling out on the Nile

Pyramids trip with air conditioned bus and guide,includes entrance to Pyramids and Sun Boat museum and local tamaia sandwiches for lunch

Nile cruise with dinner and dancer on the Nile Maxim

Blue Nile restaurant - dinner and dance - delicious Egyptian food and great dance show

Dinner at local restaurant (no dance show)

Kay with you all week to facilitate everything and help with any additional things you would like to do

Our hotel is situated in downtown Cairo so great for wandering out and shopping.  Cairo shoe shopping and clothes shopping is great, you can get some real bargains.
The Egyptian Museum is a 20 minute walk, so easy to do by yourselves.  Kay can arrange a guide if required - or you can just get a ticket and go browse in your own time.  

We use a bus for some of the included activities but Kay likes people to have the taxi/metro experience as well

Optional activities we can arrange at extra cost include 
Dance classes - we can see who is available at the time and schedule accordingly
Spa treatments in Zamalek for those that want to treat themselves.  Zamalek is a residential district with nice shops and cafes
Additional nights out to see dancers and experience Cairo nightlife
