CANCELLATION OF LATE BOOKINGS

CANCELLATION OF HOLIDAY

In the unlikely event that we may have to cancel your holiday, we will let you know at least two months beforehand and refund all monies.  Some of the trips have to have a minimum number of participants.
In the event of civil unrest, if the Foreign Office recommend ‘Essential Travel Only’, full refunds will be given.  Farida Adventures are not responsible for flights.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS

If you are affected by a condition, medical or otherwise that may affect your or other clients’ participation in the holiday, it is your responsibility to advise us of this at the time of booking.  We cannot accept responsibility for your condition but we do need to be aware of it.  It is your responsibility to make sure you are fit and well enough to participate in the holiday.  Please consult your medical practitioner if necessary before you book.  It is your responsibility to ensure you have taken out insurance for any condition, medical or otherwise.
PERSONAL FITNESS – Cairo is a city with lots of stairs, high pavements etc.  There is some walking involved in these trips and the terrain is not always smooth.  Please consider this before booking.
ALSO – some shows have strobe lighting and we do not know in advance.

SURCHARGES

As prices for holidays are set many months in advance, on rare occasions we may have to impose a surcharge, if this happens we will let you know at least 28 days prior to the departure date.  If the surcharge is more than 10% you will be entitled to cancel with a full refund, however you must let us know within 14 days of the date of our surcharge invoice.  We must stress that surcharges very rarely happen.  Since Farida Adventures was formed eighteen years ago, this has only happened once.

PASSPORT, VISAS and INSURANCE

It is your responsibility to ensure you have a valid passport, and visa if required.  It is also your responsibility to have insurance, the post office do a good deal, but it is worth shopping around.  We suggest you take out insurance for your trip, including your flights.  Please ensure you take out insurance before you book your flights otherwise they may not be covered.

FLIGHTS

Suggested flight times are included or will be sent to you, though you are at liberty to shop around for a cheap deal.  We recommend you wait until we confirm the dates as on rare occasions there may not be enough participants to run the trip.  This is a rare occurrence and has only happened once in eighteen years.

HOLIDAY PARTICIPATION

If you have a complaint or problem about any part of the holiday, please tell us at the time, it is only if we know about a problem that we can try to put it right.
